Adding an IP to the block list

To add an IP to the block list in Cloudflare, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Cloudflare account.
  • Select the domain for which you want to block an IP.
  • Click the "Firewall" tab in the top menu.
  • Scroll down to the "IP Firewall" section.
  • Click the "Add a rule" button.
  • In the "IP" field, enter the IP address you want to block. You can also enter a range of IP addresses using CIDR notation (e.g. 192.0.2.0/24).
  • Select the action you want to take for the selected IP(s) from the "Action" dropdown menu. You can choose between "Block" (to block all traffic from the IP(s)), "Challenge" (to present a captcha to users from the IP(s)), or "JS Challenge" (to present a JavaScript challenge to users from the IP(s)).
  • (Optional) Enter a description for the rule in the "Description" field.
  • Click the "Save" button to add the IP(s) to the block list.

Keep in mind that it may take some time for the changes to take effect. You can view the status of your firewall rules by clicking on the "Firewall" tab and then clicking on the "Overview" tab.
